Hopefully winter is nearly over as all fittening work for both horse and riders is well under way.
I had the good fortune to miss most of the November's cold whilst I was coaching in Indonesia at the South East Asian Games. The Indonesian team was agonisingly close to winning the gold medal, half a show jump pole ahead with the last horse coming into the last fence but sadly all was not meant to be! A wonderful performance by a really fantastic group of riders. Eventing in the Far East is really evolving...
